Olympic medalist in speed skating Daniel Aldoshkine who misses the Russian Championship due to illness, told that he intends to participate in the Spartakiad of the Strongest.
Earlier, Russian Skating Union President Nikolai Gulyaev told that Aldoshkin would miss the Russian Classic All-Around Championship in Kemerovo (January 26-28).
“Unfortunately, I really won’t be able to participate in the Russian all-around championship, but I will be the strongest at the Spartakiad,” Aldoshkin told .
The Spartakiad of the Strongest will take place from February 9 to 18, the speed skating tournament will take place in Chelyabinsk.
