Competitions in these sports as part of the Spartakiad of the Strongest will take place in February in Chelyabinsk at the Ural Lightning Ice Palace.
“Now we can already say that Belarusian athletes will compete in both short track and speed skating at the Spartakiad,” Gulyaev told .
Previously, the Ministry of Sports introduced an addition to the regulations on holding the Winter Spartakiad, according to which Belarusian athletes will be able to participate in the tournament. The Belarusian delegation is officially invited to the competition to participate outside the main ranking in seven sports. Furthermore, the Belarusian delegation confirmed its intention to participate in the BRICS Games in Kazan in 2024.
