Russian speed skating champion Nikita Bazyuk told that he will participate in the Spartakiad of the Strongest, despite his injury.
Bazyuk was injured during the Russian sprint all-around championship in Kemerovo. As the head coach of the Russian national team Dmitry Dorofeev told , the athlete then had to undergo an MRI.
“Everything went well,” Bazyuk told , responding to a question about the results of the exam. “I will be one hundred percent ready for the Spartakiad, and maybe even better.”
The Spartakiad of the Strongest speed skating tournament will take place in February in Chelyabinsk.
