Italian alpine skier, 2018 Olympic downhill champion Sofia Goggia has retired for the rest of the season due to a broken leg following a fall in training, reports the press service of the Italian Ski Federation.
The 31-year-old, who won gold at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, broke his leg when he fell on the Ponte di Legno track.
