The Spartakiad of the Strongest is, first of all, an all-Russian competition organized to review sports reserves for the future, the press service of the Russian Sports Ministry told .

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Sports, published on the official website of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), 10 Belarusian biathletes (5 men and 5 women) will perform at the Spartakiad, athletes are represented in all disciplines , with the exception of general start races, scheduled for February 17 and 18.

— The participation of Belarusian athletes in the competitions of the All-Russian Winter Spartakiad of the Strongest is an initiative developed by the Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus. The types of sports and disciplines in which the Belarusian national team participates were determined jointly.

Our departments closely cooperate in organizing competitions – the common calendar includes about 400 events per year, including the State of the Union tournaments, the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup, the CIS Games and others. All these activities are aimed at ensuring the competitiveness of Russian and Belarusian athletes.

Spartakiad is, first of all, an all-Russian competition organized for teams of the constituent entities of Russia, and an opportunity to visit the sports reserve for the further training of the national teams of the Russian Federation and the organization of the training process. the press service of the Ministry of Sports told .

The biathlon competitions within the framework of the Spartakiad will take place from February 10 to 18 in Zlatoust.
