Norway and Sweden entered the top three
France team won the mixed relay Biathlon World Championships 2024 in the Czech Nove Mesto.
The French biathletes were consistently in the top three at each stage, despite one penalty loop. At the last stage, Julia Simon took the lead and achieved a comfortable advantage over her rivals.
The Norwegian team took second place, losing 45 seconds to France. Swedish biathletes won bronze medals.
Ukrainian national team used eight extra rounds and finished in seventh place. Blue and yellow were represented Artem Prima, Dmitry Pidruchny, Yulia Jima and Irina Petrenko.
Competitions at the 2024 World Championships will continue on February 9 with the women’s sprint. The men’s sprint race will take place on February 10.
