The governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Alexei Teksler, said that the best biathlon complex in Russia was built in Zlatoust.
On Saturday, sprint races will take place in Zlatoust as part of the Spartakiad of the Strongest. These competitions were the first organized in the stadium, under construction since 2008.
“I am happy that today we are present at such a wonderful event, at the renovated biathlon center named after our compatriot Svetlana Ishmuratova. Thanks to the SBR and Viktor Maigurov, they believed in us and we always keep our promises. We have created the best biathlon center in the country. We agreed that we would regularly hold competitions of the highest level here,” reports correspondent Teksler.
The Spartakiad biathlon tournament takes place from February 10 to 18.
