Biathlete Batmanova told how a conversation with a housekeeper in a hotel helped her win the Spartakiad race

Biathlete Anastasia Batmanova who won the sprint race at the Spartakiade of the Strongest in Zlatoust, said that the day before the race, the hotel housekeeper predicted his success.

On Saturday, Batmanova covered the distance in 22 minutes 56.1 seconds without any errors at the shooting range. This victory was the first of his adult career.

— There was a funny story today. I go into the hotel elevator and there is a woman cleaning. She asks me if I’m a freestyler? I answered that I was a biathlete. She said, “Oh, you have a competition today. Good luck then! So you got in the elevator, and I’m there with a bucket full, which means everything’s going to be okay. We move on: “No fluff or feathers,” she says. I told him, “To hell with it. » “Now you will definitely win,” replied the maid. Now I have to find her (laughs). “She brought luck,” reports the correspondent, according to Batmanova’s words.

The Spartakiad biathlon tournament takes place from February 10 to 18.
