Double Olympic snowboard champion Vic Sauvage reported to that in 2016, Olympic equipment and memorabilia related to the Sochi Games were stolen from his country garage.
Wild is 37 years old, he married Russian snowboarder Alena Zavarzina in 2011 and in 2012 he obtained Russian citizenship. The snowboarder won two gold medals at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi and Wild also won bronze at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. Wilde divorced Zavarzina in 2021.
“I don’t want to make a scandal, but all my stuff related to the Sochi Olympics was stolen from my garage. All my equipment and souvenirs, gifts. All this was stolen in 2016. Alena and I then put these things in a garage outside the city. The home builders probably came and took everything out of the garage. It was my mistake, I should have been more careful. But as I get older, I get sadder and sadder that I don’t have an Olympic uniform or gifts from Sochi. The fans gave me very nice things. Olympic medals are almost the only thing I have after these Olympics,” Wild told .
