The teams of the Krasnodar Territory and the Vladimir region are in the lead after three rounds of the round-robin curling tournament between women’s teams as part of the Spartakiad of the Strongest.
In the third round, the team from the Krasnodar region defeated the team from the Irkutsk region with a score of 7:3.
In other matches, the team from the Kaliningrad region defeated the team from the Moscow region (5: 3), and the representatives of St. Petersburg turned out to be stronger than their rivals from Moscow (5: 3). The team from the Krasnoyarsk Territory defeated the team from the Novosibirsk region – 5:2. The team from the Vladimir region beat the team from the Chelyabinsk region with a score of 10:3.
The Krasnodar Territory and the Vladimir region lead the ranking with three victories, followed by the teams of the Irkutsk, Moscow regions and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which each won two victories. Teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Chelyabinsk region each won a match at the tournament. The teams of the Kaliningrad and Chelyabinsk regions occupy the last place in the standings (three defeats each).
Curling competitions within the framework of Spartakiad take place in Krasnoyarsk, at the Crystal Arena, and will end on February 17.
