– What are your destinies in Toksovo?
– Purely by chance. I discovered that the guys had an open formation and I immediately arrived. The fact is that just a day and a half ago I returned home to Toksovo after a long trip. I am very happy that there is such an opportunity – to see the guys, the coaches.
– How are you now?
– While I focus on myself, on my own health.
Are you going back to skiing?
– For now, I can’t say. If I decide on health issues, why not. But I don’t think so far.
– Is there a desire to return?
— He’s still there, in whatever state (smiles).
– Before the guys’ training in Toksovo, there was a minute’s silence in memory of Igor Malinovsky.
To be honest, I’m still in shock. And of course, my deepest condolences to the family. I still can’t believe it all ended so sadly for such a young man.
In 2020, the biathlete interrupted her career due to pregnancy. The Russian championship held in Tyumen this spring was the 37-year-old’s first start in the past two years. Yurlova-Perkht is the winner and silver medalist of the world championships.
