Cross-country skiing competitions as part of the Spartakiad of the Strongest will continue in Tyumen on Tuesday, February 13 with the women’s 4 x 7.5 km relay.

The relay was supposed to take place on February 15, but on Monday, the president of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), Elena Vyalbe, announced on that the date had been changed due to unfavorable weather conditions, scheduled for 15-16.
Earlier at the Spartakiad, the women had organized three races. Anastasia Faleeva, representing St. Petersburg, won the sprint. The best in the 20 km skiathlon was Olympic champion Veronika Stepanova, who represents the Arkhangelsk region. 2018 Games bronze medalist Anastasia Kuleshova (Nizhny Novgorod region) won the 10 km freestyle.
The Winter Spartakiad of the Strongest takes place from February 8 to 18. Competitions in 16 sports are held in the Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, as well as in the Tyumen, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions. Russian and Belarusian athletes took part in the Spartakiad of the Strongest.
