The Ministry of Sports of the Omsk region is ready to help the parents of the deceased world champion in junior biathlon Igor Malinovsky if necessary, the department told .
Malinovsky, having completed his sports career, became a pilot and worked in his native Kamchatka. He was at the controls of a helicopter that crashed July 16 in Kamchatka. Malinovsky was 25 years old.
– In August last year, Igor ended his sports career and returned home to Kamchatka. If parents need help, the Omsk region sports ministry is ready to provide it, the department told .
During his career as a biathlete, Malinovsky represented the Omsk region.
