Open training of a group of biathletes under the direction of Sergei Bashkirov in Toksovo (Leningrad region) began with a minute of silence in memory of the former biathlete Igor Malinovsky and Russian national team soldier Evgenia Permyakov.
All band members went to practice wearing mourning bandages.
The Bashkirov group includes Alexander Loginov , Maxim Tsvetkov , Anton Babikov , Alexander Povarnitsyn , Vasily Tomshin , Kirill Bajine , Mikhail Burundukov , Vyacheslav Maleev , Ivan Kolotov and Alexei Vagina .
Malinovsky died on July 16 in a helicopter crash in Kamchatka, he was 25 years old. Permyakov died a day earlier at the age of 53, in 2020 the specialist was diagnosed with cancer.
