Sweden took silver, Germany took bronze
Ukrainian biathlon team took fifth place in women’s relay on World Championship 2024 in the Czech Nove Mesto.
The blue-yellow team consisted of: Irina Petrenko, Yulia Jima, Anastasia Merkushina, Kristina Dmitrenko. At the firing lines, the Ukrainians used ten additional rounds and at the finish line lost just over two minutes to the winners.
The French team won gold, 38 seconds ahead of Sweden. Germany took bronze. Let us note the disastrous performance of Norway, which took tenth place after running five penalty loops.
The men’s relay will take place on Saturday at the 2024 World Cup. Starts at 17:30. The performances at the World Championships will end on Sunday, when the mass starts for men and women will take place.
