Norwegian Sturla Lægreid won men’s mass start at the stage World Cup 2023/24 biathlon in Holmenkollene.
The fate of the race was decided at the final shooting. Taking advantage of the mistakes of his opponents and working “cleanly” on the shooting range, Legreid won the mass start.
The Norwegian was more than ten seconds ahead of the silver medalist, German Benedikt Doll. Swede Jesper Nelin was third.
Tomorrow the final two races of the reporting stage will take place in Holmenkollen: single mixed and mixed relay.
