Johannes Boe has caught up with Martin Fourcade in number of victories in major competitions

Norwegian national team biathlete Johannes Boé won the sprint at the World Cup in Canmore (Canada).

Boe covered the 10-kilometer distance with a result of 23 minutes 37.0 seconds, without making a single mistake on two shooting ranges. The Italian came second Tommaso Giacomel (+1:02.7; 1 miss). Another Norwegian completes the leading trio: Tarjei Boé (+1: 04.2; 1).

This is Johannes Boe’s 83rd victory in the World Cup, World Championships and Olympic Games. The Frenchman has the same amount of money Martin Fourcade . The record belongs to another Norwegian, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, who won major international competitions 95 times.
