Lisa Vittozzi won the Biathlon World Cup Big Crystal Globe

The best result among Ukrainians is Yulia Jima – 24th place

Italian biathlete Lisa Vittozzi won Large crystal globe Biathlon World Cup 2023/24.

In the overall standings, the Italian scored 1091 points and remained out of reach of her pursuers. The Frenchwoman took second place thanks to her victory in the mass start at the last stage of the season in Canmore, Canada. Lou Jeanmonneauahead of the representative of Norway Ingrid Tandrevold.

The best among Ukrainian women in the overall standings was Julia Jima — 23rd place with 283 points.

29-year-old Vittozzi won the Big Crystal Globe for the first time in her career and became the second Italian to achieve this achievement, after Dorothea Wierer. Lisa also won two Small Crystal Globes – in the individual and pursuit races. Tandrevold won a similar award in the sprint competition.

Let us remind you that in the men’s World Cup 2023/24, the victory was celebrated by the Norwegian Johannes Boe.
