Bobsledders Gaityukevich and Mordasov won gold at the Russian Championship in two-seater races

Bobsledders Rostislav Gaityukevich and Mikhail Mordasov won the two-seater crew competition at the Russian Championship, which takes place in Sochi.

Based on the sum of the two races, the athletes posted a result of 1 minute 50.6 seconds. The second place was taken by Stepan Dubinko and Alexey Laptev (+0.410), with the top three being completed by Alexey Stulnev and Alexander Efimov (+0.530).

In February, Gaityukevich won gold at the Spartakiad of the Strongest in the two-man race with Alexey Laptev. The victory at the current Russian Championship was the seventh in his career for the 29-year-old Gaityukevich.
