According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of the FSB, the terrorist attack has currently left 40 dead and more than 100 injured. A violent fire broke out in the building. The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened criminal proceedings regarding the terrorist attack.
“Due to the tragic events that occurred in the Moscow region, all sports and physical education events in the Tyumen region on March 23-24 are canceled,” the government of the Tyumen region told .
The Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Championships take place in Tyumen from March 23 to 31. Sprints and pursuit races were scheduled to take place on March 23 and 24.
