Anastasia Merkushina and a number of other representatives of the first national team of Ukraine did not start
Yulia Gorodnaya won the pursuit race on Ukrainian Biathlon Championshipwhich takes place in Bukovel.
The athlete made two mistakes in the final shooting range. At the finish line, Yulia was 25 seconds ahead of her sister, Elena Gorodnaya, who took second place. Nadezhda Belkina finished third.
Let us note that only 13 biathletes took to the start line. The sprint winner Anastasia Merkushina and a number of other athletes from the main team of the Ukrainian national team did not take part.
Let us remind you that Dmitry Pidruchny won the men’s pursuit race. The Ukrainian Championship will continue on March 26, when the relay races will take place.
