Lyubov Kipyachenkova admits that she is thinking of hanging up her skis and rifle.

Lyubov Kipyachenkova is about to end her professional career. As the Ukrainian biathlete himself said, this decision was influenced by the invasion of terrorist troops in our state.

According to the athlete, by the time the full-scale war began, he lost motivation.

“Honestly, at the beginning of the war I was a little depressed and at some point I lost motivation. I didn’t get into the team, I was self-training, I didn’t receive a salary, I only lived on a scholarship, so when a massive war started, I wanted to leave the sport life.

But at that moment I had a close person who supported me and convinced me that I had not yet realized myself. For this, I am very grateful to him. This is probably my most recent tipping point and, thanks to my loved ones, I got through it. Now I am motivated by my own results and what I do gives me satisfaction. This is probably one of the most important moments in every person’s life,” said Biathlon Ukraine to the girl.

Note that the 24-year-old athlete did not score any points in the World Cup this season; he took 58th place in the IBU Cup standings.

We remind you that a former famous boxing trainer was injured in the front and is in intensive care.
