The FBU Presidium approved new coaching staffs
Presidium Ukrainian Biathlon Federation approved coaching staff Ukrainian national teams for the 2024/25 season. The head coach of the women’s team was Nikolay Zots, Nadezhda Belova led the men’s team.
Let us remember that Zots led the Ukrainian women’s team last season. It was previously reported that the head coach of the men’s team, Juraj Sanitra, will leave his position.

Women’s national team: Nikolay Zots (senior coach), Sergey Zots, Oleg Merkushin, Alexey Petrenko, Roman Leybyuk.
Men’s national team: Nadezhda Belova (senior coach), Alexey Kravchenko, Dmitry Ivasenko, Alexander Artyuk (all – team A), Roman Prima (team B).
Junior team: Alexander Kravchenko, Oksana Khvostenko, Alexander Bilanenko, Nazariy Buryk.
At the end of the 2023/24 season, the Ukrainian women’s team moved up one place and took ninth place in the Nations Cup. The blue-and-yellows will be able to field five athletes, just like last season.
At the end of the 2023/24 season, the Ukrainian men’s team took 11th place in the Nations Cup and lost one quota for the World Cup. In the 2024/25 season, the blue-yellows will be able to field a maximum of four athletes.
