Norwegian Tarjei Boé and Italian Lisa Vitozzi became the best biathletes of the 2023/24 season according to fans, according to the official website of the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
Vitozzi received 40% of the fans’ votes, second place was taken by Norwegian Ingrid Tandrevold (24%), third place was taken by Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmono (19%).
Last season, Vitozzi won the big Crystal Globe and became the winner of individual races and pursuits.
The men have Tarjeya Boe with 49% of the vote. In second place is his brother Johannes Boe (32%), the top 3 is closed by his compatriot Vetle Sjastad Christiansen (9%).
Tarjei Boe finished second overall in the World Cup and won the Small Crystal Globe in the sprint competition.
