The stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup will be held in Murmansk from April 12 to 14. It had rained in the city the day before.

What has been done here since the summer, such work has not been done anywhere else. I can say that the tracks here are royal compared to where the Norwegian Biathlon Championships took place. The main thing is that all athletes are in the same conditions,” reports a correspondent, reports Pak’s remarks.
Minister of Sports of the Murmansk region Svetlana Naumova noted that last year the organizers prepared a sufficient amount of snow. This will make it possible to organize high-level competitions:
— The big biathlon landing finally takes place in Murmansk. We have been waiting for this event for a long time. At the beginning of the sports season, we prepared a high-quality snow cushion, which will allow us to organize high-level competitions. Tomorrow there is a little snow forecast, but I would like the rain to stop,” Naumova added.
