“It was a difficult track, my legs hurt too much” – Latypov after the Commonwealth Cup sprint in Murmansk

Russian Edward Latypov highlighted the difficulty of the track after the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup sprint race in Murmansk.

Latypov made two mistakes and took second place in the 10 km race. The winner of the sprint was Daniil Usov, without making a single mistake, second place went to Aleksandr Povarnitsyn.

— I was very prepared, but I couldn’t win. Whatever anyone said, it wasn’t enough. It was necessary to shoot more precisely and differently. This way, of course, it’s easier to win the race (smiles). The track itself was difficult, my legs were too hard. You must constantly keep your balance. There was no rigid stability on the support. I wanted to leave quickly (from the line), but it didn’t work out,” Latypov said on .
