On Friday, Usov, 23, covered the 10 km in 25 minutes 38.6 seconds and made no mistakes. Second place went to Alexander Povarnitsyn (+4.2; 1 miss), the leading trio was completed by Eduard Latypov (+5.6; 2 misses).
— Who was your idol in your childhood and youth?
— Since I started cross-country skiing, my idol was Alexander Legkov. And now there is one left. There were no idols in biathlon.
