The Belarusian national team was unable to compete in mixed singles due to the lack of biathletes. Belarusians took part in the classic mixed relay.
— Unfortunately, we couldn’t put anyone on the mixed single, because there were problems with the girls. They are out of stock (laughs).
— Maybe the organizers should have organized a pursuit race instead of relay races to avoid such a situation?
— It’s difficult to talk about this subject. In my opinion, we could have limited ourselves to one relay race – mixed singles. Everyone could participate.
“Aren’t you upset that it happened like this?”
“We are of course upset, but what can we do,” Ryzhenkov told .
