It became known earlier that the IOC will not participate in the redistribution of medals from the figure skating tournament of the 2022 Games, handing over responsibility for this procedure to the Russian National Olympic Committee.
“Thomas Bach and his gang broke the laws, the Olympic Charter and everything you can imagine. This is another violation by the IOC. One more, one less – for them it no longer matters. Bach is on his way to destroying the Olympic movement. But we have not paid attention to the recommendations and laws of the IOC for a long time. At the end of January, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The 18-year-old Russian’s suspension period begins on December 25, 2021, and her results have been canceled since that date. The court’s decision led to a review of the results of the team figure skating tournament at the 2022 Olympics, where the Russian team won. First place is now awarded to the American team, the Japanese are second and the Russians will receive bronze.
