President of the Biathlon Federation of the Ryazan Region Vitaly Ardov told that in January the Almaz Biathlon Complex will be ready to host competitions, including those with the participation of skiers.
Earlier, at the final press conference of the 2023/24 biathlon season, President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Viktor Maigurov said that skiers could participate in the Race of Champions, which will have will take place in Ryazan in January 2025.
— We are ready to accept skiers, this issue has been developed and discussed, including with sponsors and the Russian Biathlon Union. The infrastructure of the biathlon complex is being prepared and we have also constructed another building. A three-story refereeing building is also being constructed, which will house commentary booths, a competition office, a small room for press conferences and rooms for judges. In January, the Almaz biathlon complex will be fully armed and ready to host competitions, including those with the participation of skiers, Ardov told .
