The Executive Committee of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), at a meeting on Tuesday, agreed on the change of sports citizenship of the biathlete of the Tyumen region team. Ksenia Schneider in Belarus in connection with marriage and moving to the republic for permanent residence, according to the SBR website.
Schneider is 24 years old, last season she became a medalist of the Russian Spartakiade and Alfa-Bank Championship in women’s relay races. The coach of the Tyumen region team, Maxim Kugaevsky, previously informed about the change in his marital status and his move to Belarus.
The biathlete finished the general ranking of the Russian Cup in 20th place.
