The Executive Committee of the Russian Skating Union (SKR) postponed the issue of quarantine for the medalist of the World Speed Skating Championships Danila Semerikov who intends to play for Uzbekistan, reported to the organization’s press service.
Semerikov is a multiple Russian champion and medalist at the world championships. After the Beijing Games, he trained under the Chinese project, but competed in Russia.
The decision on the quarantine period was not made at the TFR executive committee, which takes place in Kolomna.
Semerikov himself previously announced his desire to play for Uzbekistan on . He made this decision to “return to international competition”.
