Athletistic/OI. Yesterday, May 21, a search was carried out at the headquarters of the foundation for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which will be held from February 6 to 22 in Milan (Italy). According to Sky Sport Italia, the Italian financial watchdog has opened an investigation into three fund managers, including the former chairman of the board in charge of the Games.
The allegations concern the selection of sponsors and technology suppliers for the Olympics.
The 2026 Games Fund is controlled by the Italian National Olympic Committee, the regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the municipalities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
- The 2030 Winter Olympics will take place in France, in 2034 in the United States.
