The International Skating Union (ISU) announced a loss of 8.6 million francs for 2023.
The ISU financial performance report was presented on the first day of the organization’s convention in Las Vegas.
Last year, ISU’s turnover amounted to 35.9 million Swiss francs, compared to 35.5 million in 2022. Losses over the past year amounted to 8.6 million of Swiss francs, in 2022 this figure was 18.2 million.
Net losses in 2023 amounted to 3.6 million Swiss francs, 2.1 million more than expected.
Russian athletes have been suspended from competitions under the auspices of the ISU due to the situation in Ukraine.
