Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has approved the amount of one-time payments to Moscow winners of the 2024 Winter Spartakiad and their coaches, according to the official website of the capital’s mayor.
The Spartakiad was held from February 9 to 18 in the Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as in the Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar territories. The Moscow team took first place in the team competition. One-time incentive payments will be received by 55 athletes who won a total of 76 medals (26 gold, 27 silver and 23 bronze) in 11 sports.
— Athletes who won the title of champion of the Spartakiad will receive 350,000 rubles. Silver medalists receive 175,000 rubles, and bronze medalists receive 100,000 rubles.
In addition, 36 trainers who worked with them will also receive a reward. They are entitled to payments of 50 percent of the specified amounts, the message said.
