The International Skating Union (ISU) Council will hold its next meeting at the end of September.
The meeting will take place from September 27 to 29 in Lausanne (Switzerland).
As a source familiar with the matter told , at this meeting, participants will be able, for the first time in a long time, to return to an official discussion on the possible admission of Russian athletes to competitions under the auspices of the ISU.
At the ISU Congress meetings in June, the issue of admitting Russians was not officially discussed.
Russian figure skaters, short track skaters and speed skaters have been suspended from competitions under the auspices of the ISU due to the situation in Ukraine.
