The Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) has posted on the official website the schedule for the first stage of the summer Biathlon Commonwealth Cup, which will be held from August 23 to 29 in Sochi.
The sprint races will take place on August 25. On August 27, pursuit races will take place. The big mass departures are scheduled for August 28.
The stage will be hosted by the Laura Ski and Biathlon Complex.
The Commonwealth Cup is a separate tournament apart from the Russian Cup, in which biathletes from Russia and Belarus will participate. It is planned to organize five stages (two in summer and three in winter) with a prize fund and the possibility of starting for any team.
