Russian biathlete Alina Koudisova told that she noticed a big difference when working on the turntable after eye surgery.
Kudisova underwent vision correction surgery on June 20.
“I have been training fully for two weeks now, with two workouts a day. The first week after the operation, I was completely at rest; of course, I did not lie on the couch at all, I walked with canes. After two weeks, it was already possible to get involved in the training process, but with minor restrictions. After 20 days, I started doing strength work, but only with my own weight. Now I am in a training camp in Tyumen, where all restrictions have been lifted. I started working to the maximum, as they say. But the only downside is that I missed working in the gym, and now it is a little difficult in this regard. But again, these are nuances that I discuss with the coach. Now I am doing individual work in the gym and I think I will be in good shape by the end of the training camp.
Things are also going interestingly in the filming work, I have been shooting for only a few days. I noticed how everything is visible around the corner! In the field of lenses, it is one thing, but now it is completely different. It is an indescribable feeling. I think only people who have had eye surgery will understand me (laughs). The most important thing is that the eyes do not get tired during filming, ”Kudisova told .
Kudisova is training with the Khanty-Mansiysk national team for the 2023/24 season.
