On Wednesday, Loginov announced that he had injured his hand during a training camp in Sochi. Earlier, Kugaevsky told that the team had questions for the Norwegian manufacturer of roller skate supports, as this was not the first case of a fall at training camp.
“To restore the function of his hand, he will undergo surgery. The fracture is quite complex and displaced,” Kugaevsky told .
Loginov is 32 years old, the athlete has two Olympic medals – bronze, gold, silver and four bronze medals at the World Championships.
The first stage of the Commonwealth Biathlon Summer Cup will take place in Krasnoyarsk from September 6 to 8.
