Dmitrenko Finishes Seventh in Women’s Super Sprint at 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships

Krivonos and Merkushyna took places at the end of the top 20

The final race of the second competition day has ended in Otepää, Estonia 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships — final women’s super sprint.

Three Ukrainian women took part in it, and the best of them, Kristina Dmitrenkomanaged to show the seventh result. Two of her compatriots – Anna Krivonos And Anastasia Merkushina — took 18th and 19th places, respectively.

The winner of the super sprint was Paulina Batovska-Fialkova from Slovakia. She managed to get ahead of the Finn Suvi Minkkinen and the Czech Lucie Harvatova.

Let us recall that today Ukraine won its first medals in Otepää. This happened in the men’s super sprint – the first two places were taken by Dmytro Pidruchnyi and Artem Tyshchenko.

Tomorrow, August 24, four sprint races will be held as part of the 2024 Summer World Championships. The tournament will end on Sunday with junior pursuit races and elite mass starts.
