On 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships The men’s sprint took place. Six Ukrainians took to the start of the race, but none of them managed to compete for the prize places.
The best result was shown by Artem Tishchenkowho managed to finish in the top 10 with one miss. Yesterday’s silver medalist in the super sprint lacked the speed to fight for the medals – the final ninth place.
The rest of the Ukrainian biathletes finished outside the top 20. Anton Dudchenko became 25th, winner of the super sprint Dmitry Pidruchny And Bogdan Tsymbal closed out the top thirty. Denis Nasyko And Ruslan Tkalenko took places in the second half of the fourth ten.
Let us recall that today Ukrainian juniors and junior women triumphantly performed in sprint races at the World Championships in Otepää, Estonia, presenting themselves and the entire country with a magnificent gift for Independence Day. Vitaliy Mandzyn won gold, and Viktoria Khvostenko and Elena Gorodnaya became silver and bronze medalists, respectively.
Today, another race will take place at the Summer World Championships – the women’s sprint. The tournament will end tomorrow, August 25, with the junior pursuit races and the elite mass starts.
