Ksenia Prikhodko Finishes in Top 10
On 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships took place in Otepää, Estonia pursuit among juniors.
The best among Ukrainians was Elena Gorodnayawho took fourth place. Elena missed four shots and was 55 seconds behind the winner, Valentina Dimitrova from Bulgaria. Silver was won by another Bulgarian, Lora Hristova, and bronze by Ilona Plechakova from the Czech Republic.
Another Ukrainian, Ksenia Prikhodko, finished eighth. Viktoria Khvostenko took 12th place, and Alexandra Merkushina, who missed ten shots, took 17th place. Polina Putsko (23rd place) and Alina Khmil (41st) also took part.
Let us recall that Gorodnaya won bronze in the sprint at the 2024 Summer World Championships. Viktoria Khvostenko won a silver medal in the same race.
Earlier, Vitaly Mandzyn won his second gold medal at the 2024 Summer World Championships, winning the junior pursuit race. Also in the men’s super sprint, Dmytro Pidruchnyi became the champion, and Artem Tishchenko won the silver medal.
