Estonian Rene Zahkna won gold
Ukrainian biathlete Anton Dudchenko took fourth place in the men’s mass start on 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championshipswhich takes place in Otepää, Estonia.
Dudchenko made a mistake at the first shooting range. The Ukrainian shot without a miss after that. Anton was 31 seconds behind the winner of the race, Rene Zahkne from Estonia. Jonas Marecek from the Czech Republic came in second, Andrejs Rastorgujevs from Latvia came in third.
Another Ukrainian, Artem Tishchenko, took 18th place. Dmytro Pidruchnyi missed eight shots and finished 23rd.
At the 2024 Summer World Championships, Ukraine won six medals. In the men’s super sprint, Dmytro Pidruchnyi became the champion, and Artem Tyshchenko won the silver medal. In the junior sprint, Viktoria Khvostenko and Elena Gorodnaya won silver and bronze, respectively. And Vitaliy Mandzyn won two golds in the sprint and pursuit race among juniors.
