Dmitrenko took ninth place in the women’s mass start at the 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships

Krivonos became 24th, Merkushina – 25th

On 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships A women’s mass start took place, in which three Ukrainian athletes took part.

The best result among the Ukrainian representatives was shown by Kristina Dmitrenko, who finished in 9th place. Anna Krivonos took 24th place, Anastasia Merkushina – 25th.

Latvian Baiba Bendika won gold in the women’s mass start. Silver went to Suvi Minkkinen from Finland, and bronze to Tereza Vobornikova from the Czech Republic.

At the 2024 Summer World Championships, Ukraine won six medals. In the men’s super sprint, Dmytro Pidruchnyi became the champion, and Artem Tyshchenko won the silver medal. In the junior sprint, Viktoria Khvostenko and Elena Gorodnaya won silver and bronze, respectively. And Vitaliy Mandzyn won two golds in the sprint and pursuit race among juniors.

The 2024 Summer World Cup ends today, August 25.
