Biathlete Anastasia Goreeva has updated his documents and will now compete under the name Khalili, the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union reports.
In August, multiple junior world and European champion Anastasia Goreeva and bronze medalist at the 2022 Olympic Games and the 2021 World Relay Championships, three-time Russian champion Karim Khalili got married.
Biathlete Ekaterina Noskova also changed her surname. She will now perform under the name Moshkova. From the new season, Natalya Gerbulova will appear in the protocols under the name Natalya Durkina.
Currently, Russian and Belarusian biathletes are suspended from international competitions by decision of the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
