President Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Ivan Krulko spoke about the return to the service team of the Slovenian national team Laha Gaberaas well as about an interesting innovation in comprehensive schools of Ukraine from September 1.
“First of all, I think the fans will be interested in the fact that we strengthened our service team at the beginning of the season: Slovenian specialist Lach Gaber, who worked with the best manufacturers of powders, lubricants, and tested skis all summer, returned to us.”
“And another important question for me, since this was one of the points of my program during the elections of the President of the Federation: from September 1, biathlon lessons will start in comprehensive schools.”
Ivan Krulko was elected President of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine in November 2022.
Krulko also reported that Ukrainian biathlete Artem Pryma is beginning to prepare for coaching work.
At the 2024 Summer World Championships, Ukraine won six medals. In the men’s super sprint, Dmytro Pidruchnyi became the champion, and Artem Tyshchenko won the silver medal. In the junior sprint, Viktoria Khvostenko and Elena Gorodnaya won silver and bronze, respectively. And Vitaliy Mandzyn won two golds in the sprint and pursuit race among juniors.
