2022 Olympic silver medalist in short track Konstantin Ivliev spoke about what awaits a tight fight at the start of the season, which is preparing for the team of Vladimir Grigoriev.
The first big start for short track skating of the season will be the Russian Cup stage, which will be held in Kolomna from September 30 to October 2.
“It’s very interesting in terms of the rivalry between the guys, we’ll have a very tight fight, it’s much more difficult to show results at Russian starts than at internationals,” Ivliev said in a special “Match! Country report. “We know what they did this summer.”
– There was little rest before the Olympic season, so we entered the training process smoothly and smoothly than now. Now everything has become much clearer,” he pointed out.
Ivliev was injured at the end of the Olympic season.
– Now he is already working as usual, this injury does not bother him, – said team coach Grigoriev in a conversation with a correspondent.
