Belarusian Anton Smolski won the mass start at the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup summer biathlon stage in Krasnoyarsk.
The biathlete covered a distance of 15 kilometers in 36 minutes 30.8 seconds, without making a single mistake on four shooting ranges. His compatriot Dmitry Lazovsky finished second, 10.7 seconds behind the winner with 1 penalty. Russian Denis Irodov came third (1; +29.7).
Earlier on Sunday, Smolsky’s wife Dinara won the women’s mass start. In the fight for gold, she beat Russia’s Victoria Slivko.
