The Volga Federal District (VFD-1) team won the men’s relay at the Alfa-Bank Russian Summer Biathlon Championship.
Evgeny Emerkhonov, Nikita Blinov, Ivan Kolotov and Daniil Usov covered the distance in 1 hour 15 minutes 7.1 seconds, using 15 additional rounds.
The second was the team of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which included Rodion Travnikov, Anton Babikov, Vladislav Zotov and Danila Materkov (+8.5 seconds; 8 laps). The leading trio was completed by Mikhail Aikinsky, Alexander Kozulin, Kirill Vladimirov and Maxim Tsvetkov, representing the team from St. Petersburg (+14.9; 8).
