— At the Russian Summer Championships in Tyumen, the women’s team of the Moscow region won gold in the relay race, while the men’s team fought for victory. What goals do you set for the biathletes for the season?

— The regional team is faced with the task of taking third place at the end of the season in the SBR rating. Previously, we thought that we should be included in the group of teams from the Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansiysk, Sverdlovsk region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Krasnoyarsk, now the task is more difficult. Tyumen, Khanty and Sverdlovsk region are distinguished by their starting line-up and capabilities; our goal is for the Moscow region team to be at least in the top three for the season. In a year, the men’s team will be strengthened, we are working on it, and in a season the goal is to win the team competition. And something tells me that this will happen, ”Nuzhdov told .

At the end of the 2023/24 season, the Moscow region team took fifth place in the SBR team standings.
